In a town near Tokyo, Tsukuba Tomoatsu (voiced by Naoe Tomoatsu) works at a wellness salon called ‘Smiley Boa’ and becomes responsible for helping overweight people from another world after performing an elf’s picture seal. These individuals from another world must return to their homeland with the same weight they arrived with, but many have succumbed to Japan’s sweet temptations and can’t return as they are. When they gather at a private beach, the mysterious figure of Kraken, who once fought with them, appears. The story unfolds with a unique blend of humor and emotion, as the boundaries between worlds blur. ‘New Elf Can’t Lose Weight: 5’ offers a fun and engaging tale that merges the otherworldly with the modern.
