「ミライライフライ 2」は、北京の北清大学を舞台に、学歴を追い求める学生と夢を失い社会に消えていく若者たちの現実を描いた作品です。卒業を目前にした舒念（シュウ・ニエン）は、後輩の自殺未遂をきっかけに、自分が黙殺する側にいたことに気づきます。彼はドキュメンタリー制作を通じて、退学者たちの声を届けようと決意します。しかし、取材を進めるにつれて、彼らが直面する過酷な現実と現代中国の社会の暗い側面に直面します。それでも舒念は、未熟ながらも誠実に向き合い、未来を模索する若者たちの物語を描き出します。国が違っても共通するテーマが込められており、今を生きる若者たちのリアルな姿が描かれています。

『Miraifurai 2』is a work that portrays the reality of students at Beiqing University in Beijing, some of whom pursue academic credentials relentlessly, while others lose their dreams and disappear into society. As graduation approaches, Shu Nian becomes aware that he has been on the side of silence after witnessing his junior Xu Lai’s suicide attempt. Determined to change this, he decides to document the lives of dropouts for his graduation project.
