Masato, a high school student, sells his soul to the oni Goryu in order to avenge his mother’s murder and gains oni powers. However, his father is also attacked, and he is forced into a mysterious game called ‘Karma,’ where oni-possessed individuals fight each other. Masato meets Misato, a middle school girl who performs beauty services, with the help of Fumiya, a former oni-possessed boy. As they get caught in a trap set by men, the beginning of their ‘work’ is revealed. In the oni battle that follows, they face their own goals and destinies, and a new battle begins.
