『怪獣を解剖する 上 1』is a story about the monster scholar Honda Akira, who is called to investigate the corpse of the giant monster called ‘Tokyo’. With a length of about 210 meters and an estimated weight of 85,000 tons, the giant specimen raises questions in Honda’s mind: ‘Is it really dead?’ The story intertwines the threat of a secondary monster disaster and the protagonist’s attraction to a new heroine. With a special contribution from director Kanesuke Shusuke and a thick 232-page format, this imaginative research entertainment is a must-read for monster movie fans.
