『Fire-Eating Phoenix: The Broken Kite Group 1』is a historical action manga set in the Edo period. The protagonist, Matsunaga Gen’go, was once known as the legendary firefighter ‘Fire-Eating Phoenix,’ but after a certain incident, he retired and lived a poor life with his wife, Fukayuki. Suddenly, an invitation comes from the Dewa Shinshō Domain, asking him to return as the head firefighter to protect Edo from mysterious fires. Determined to save lives, Gen’go revives the nearly destroyed ‘Broken Kite Group’ and faces the flames.
