『はじめの一歩 144』tells the story of Maori Kurokawa, a bullied boy who discovers boxing and grows through it. Kurokawa, driven by the simple question, ‘What does it mean to be strong?’, endures harsh training and becomes a formidable Japanese champion. Now, he sets his sights on becoming a world champion. Meanwhile, after the world title match, Kurokawa’s relationship with Kumiko is strained due to the condition of Kurokawa’s rival, Kanzai. As Chadama prepares for a title match against Ricardo, a major event occurs, raising questions about his approach.
