『I Wanted a Boyfriend 2』is a story about forty-year-old man Takai Souta, who is stabbed by his wife after his secret of being gay is revealed. On the brink of death, he regrets not having fallen in love and is reincarnated back to his 20-year-old university student life. Avoiding his first experience with a girl who was the reason he had to hide his true self, and deepening his friendship after learning that his friend was bisexual, Takai starts walking a completely different path from his first life. He becomes infatuated with Kasmii, the vocalist of a band on the verge of a major debut, and enjoys a typical romantic relationship of meeting, playing, eating, and having fun together. However, unexpected developments await him. This work portrays a touching story about love, life choices, and the possibility of a new beginning.
