As the West Village launches an attack, the East Village struggles until the former head of the Tashiro clan, Rouei, unexpectedly joins the battle. Though their combined efforts briefly turn the tide, they ultimately fail. Later, when Asuma visits Mayoi-ga, he clashes with Rouei, but thanks to Dela’s mediation, peace is restored. A proposal for the Shadow Forest East Village Alliance emerges as a countermeasure against the West Village. True to the title, the story reveals much but holds back on the full picture. This 10th volume of the Tsugai battle is packed with anticipation for what’s to come.
